IBIA elects four board members for three-year terms


Beumer, Campanella, Chung and Draffin join the board from 1 April 2026.

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has announced the results of its board elections, with four candidates elected to serve three-year terms beginning 1 April 2026.

The announcement was made on 9 February at the IBIA Annual General Meeting (AGM), held ahead of the association’s annual dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Eleven candidates stood for election for the four available board positions. Following the close of voting, Claudia Beumer of C4 Fuel B.V., Gianmichele Campanella of Fratelli Cosulich Monaco SAM, Calvin Chung of CPN (Chimbusco Pan Nation), and Nigel Draffin, a consultant and lecturer, were elected to the board.

From 1 April 2026, the IBIA board will comprise 16 members. Adrian Tolson of 2050 Marine Energy LLC will serve as chair, with Jeroen de Vos of Peninsula as vice chair and Mustafa Aslan of Asmira Group as honorary treasurer.

The remaining board members are: Constantinos Capetanakis of Star Bulk; Rahul Choudhuri of Veritas Petroleum Services (Asia) Pte Ltd; Frank Dahan of CSL Group Inc; Colin Holloway of Cockett Marine Oil; Jon Hughes of Dan-Bunkering Africa Ltd; Ufuk Erinc of Unerco Petrol Urn. Denizcilik ve Tic. A.S.; Deanna MacDonald of Aveera Energy; Charlotte Rojgaard of Bureau Veritas; and Valeria Sessa of Reseaworld.

IBIA thanked all members who participated in the voting process and all candidates who stood for election.
