Chimbusco Pan Nation (CPN) has launched B100 marine biodiesel supply services in Hong Kong following the upgrade of its bunker tanker, Guo Si, which has become the city's first Type II certified vessel for pure biodiesel operations.
The Hong Kong-based marine fuel supplier announced the launch on 7 January, marking an expansion of the city's renewable marine energy infrastructure.
The development follows CPN's commencement of B30 marine biofuel supply in April 2025. The company carried out a technical upgrade of Guo Si in compliance with the IMO IBC Code and Hong Kong Cap. 413E to establish infrastructure for handling pure marine biofuels.
According to CPN, Guo Si is currently the only Type II certified bunker tanker in the region approved for B100 marine biodiesel supply.
The company, which was established in 1991, said the launch demonstrates its commitment to delivering decarbonisation solutions for the maritime industry.
For B100 bunker services enquiries, CPN's Alternative Fuels Team can be contacted at altfuel@chim-pn.com.
