Remote position will support the association’s IMO and EU engagement and member training activities.

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has opened recruitment for a new advisor role covering technical, regulatory, policy and training affairs, as part of an expansion of its secretariat team.

The association said the remote position, which will include occasional travel, is intended to strengthen the support and services it provides to members and the wider maritime industry.

The advisor will contribute to IBIA’s regulatory engagement with bodies such as the International Maritime Organization and the European Union, while also providing technical and policy input, supporting the development and delivery of training programmes, and working closely with industry partners and organisations.

IBIA is seeking an experienced professional for the role, which forms part of its broader effort to enhance member services.
