Rotterdam Market Report

Market report from Marine Bunkering (Rotterdam) B.V.

Crude:

World fuel indices declined for a second day after the Federal Reserve left the rate unchanged. OPEC member Kuwait said the oil market would balance itself but that this would take time. The statement could be considered as a sign of support for the OPEC's policy to defend market share despite falling prices.

Meanwhile OPEC predicts oil will rise gradually to $80 a barrel in 2020 as supply growth outside the group weakens. It is also expected the average selling price of OPEC crude will increase by about $5 annually to 2020 from $55 this year.

Bunker Market:

The Rotterdam high sulfur fuel oil market was still weighed down by ample supplies Friday, with refinery turnarounds in Russia still not showing a significant impact on the market and despite ongoing loadings of VLCCs for export on the Rotterdam-Singapore route.

Dutch time: 11:45 hrs.

Fuel oil RMG 380 HS: 3.5%: USD 215-217

Marine Gas Oil DMA .89/ LS 0.1%: USD 427-430

ULS fuel oil: USD 395-400.
