BIX MGO price summary: week 33


A summary of weekly global marine gas oil (MGO) prices.



The Bunker Index MGO (BIX MGO) - the worldwide daily marine gas oil (MGO) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - fell to its lowest end-of-week price of the year so far on August 14, according to Bunker Index price data.

The global MGO price declined by $2.50 per tonne, or 0.4 percent, to $642.78 per tonne on Friday compared with $645.28 per tonne on August 7.

It is the ninth consecutive end-of-week decrease and the eleventh in the last thirteen weeks.
