Chevron is seeking a marine fuels marketer based in London to join its Global Supply & Trading organisation, with applications open until 30 June.
The role, advertised on LinkedIn, calls for a candidate with at least five years of experience in marine fuels, trading, renewable fuels or related commercial positions. The successful applicant will be responsible for marketing physical bunker fuels with a focus on Europe, executing both spot and term sales with international shipping customers.
According to the job listing, the position also carries a secondary remit supporting Chevron's Renewable Products Trading team. This includes biodiesel and renewable diesel origination activities, supplier engagement, and trade execution support — reflecting a broadening of scope beyond conventional marine fuels into lower-carbon products.
Chevron states that the role requires a working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, including the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), FuelEU Maritime, the Renewable Energy Directive (RED III), and International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements. Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills are also stated as requirements.
