BIX 180 price summary: week 30


A summary of weekly global 180 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The Bunker Index 180 CST (BIX 180) - the worldwide daily 180 centistoke (cSt) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - declined by $12.52 per tonne, or 3.3 percent, during the seven-day period between July 17 and July 24, according to Bunker Index price data.

The global 180 cSt price was $369.84 per tonne on July 24 compared to $382.36 per tonne on July 17.

It is the sixth weekly decline in a row and the ninth in the last ten weeks. It is also the third-most significant fall of the year so far and the lowest end-of-week figure in 25 weeks - since January 30.
