Sallaum Lines has taken delivery of its new LNG-powered container vessel MV Ocean Legacy from China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., marking the latest addition to its Ocean Class series.

The handover took place during a ceremony attended by the company’s chairman, Sami Sallaum.

Sallaum Lines said the delivery reflects its strategic commitment to fleet modernization, operational efficiency, and reduced environmental impact.

The vessel is equipped with dual-fuel propulsion capable of running on LNG, alongside energy-efficient technologies designed to support compliance with tightening emissions requirements.

Last month, Sallaum Lines took delivery of another addition to its Ocean Class series — the LNG dual-fuel new pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) vessel MV Ocean Explorer.
