BIX 380 price summary: week 30


A summary of weekly global 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The Bunker Index 380 CST (BIX 380) - the worldwide daily 380 centistoke (cSt) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - recorded its sixth end-of-week decline in a row between July 17 and July 24, according to Bunker Index price data.

The global 380 cSt bunker price fell by $14.48 per tonne, or 4.1 percent, to $339.85 per tonne on July 24 compared to $354.33 per tonne on July 17.

Friday's price is the lowest end-of-week figure in 25 weeks - since January 30. It is also the ninth end-of-week decrease in the last ten weeks, which in turn follows six consecutive weekly increases between April 10 and May 15.
