Curoil performs first Aruba inshore bunker delivery

The company's first inshore bunker operation took place at Oranjestad harbour.

Curoil recently confirmed the launch of its bunker fuel supply operation at Aruba (inshore and offshore), by its new subsidiary company Curoil Aruba.

Last week The Monarch, operated by Pullmantur Cruises, became the first client to experience Curoil's inshore bunkering services as Curoil Aruba carried out its first inshore bunkering operation at the harbour of Oranjestad, Aruba.

Following the launch of Curoil Aruba, Curoil's operations now cover all three of the so-called 'ABC islands' of the Leeward Antilles - Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao - which form part of the Lesser Antilles.

Curoil Aruba is able to supply vessels with a full range of fuels and lubricants from its 6,854 dwt double-hulled tanker, Zeta 1.

Mr. Yamil Lasten, Managing Director of Curoil commented: "These are exciting times for Curoil. With the first inshore bunkering in Aruba, we are putting one more step forward towards market expansion in the Caribbean, while remaining committed to offer the same high level of service and high quality of products our clients are accustomed to."
