Chimbusco Pan Nation (CPN) has delivered B100 marine biodiesel to an oil tanker for the first time, bunkering the vessel Torm Corrido on 8 June, marking an expansion of the vessel types the Hong Kong-headquartered bunker supplier can serve with pure biodiesel.
The operation was carried out by CPN's bunker tanker Guo Si, which the company notes has been upgraded in compliance with the IMO IBC Code and Hong Kong Cap. 413E. According to CPN, Guo Si is Hong Kong's only Type II-certified bunker tanker for B100 operations.
CPN launched its B100 marine biodiesel service in January 2026, and the supplier claims operator confidence has grown rapidly since then, with total volumes delivered in the second quarter of 2026 already exceeding first-quarter totals by more than 300%.
CPN cited the support of partners such as Torm as having been instrumental in driving this growth, adding that demand for pure marine biodiesel is expanding across vessel segments.
Founded in 1991, CPN is a physical bunker supplier in Hong Kong and has trading staff located in Athens, Hong Kong, Houston, London, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, and Viña del Mar. The firm said it remains committed to broadening access to sustainable marine fuels and to working with partners to make B100 marine biodiesel a regular choice for vessels calling at Hong Kong.
