The average price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Fujairah declined by $7 per tonne, or 1.13 percent, to its lowest level since September during the month of December, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at the Middle East's leading bunker port fell to $610 per tonne, down from $617 per tonne in November, during a month that saw Fujairah's best-selling fuel grade record a $20 low-high price range of $600 to $620 per tonne.

The December decrease is the first since July and the sixth in 2013.
