New portable emissions monitoring tool

Product is said to be suitable for use in boiler, engine, furnace, and other combustion applications.

The new E8500 Portable Industrial Combustion Gas & Emissions Analyzer [pictured] by U.S. firm E Instruments International, LLC. is a portable tool designed to carry out Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compliance-level emissions monitoring.

According to the firm, the E8500 is suitable for use in boiler, engine, furnace, and other combustion applications.

The analyzer features up to nine gas sensors, has capabilities for wireless communication with computer and other windows devices and a built–in thermoelectric chiller with automatic condensate removal.

It includes electrochemical sensors - O2, CO, NO, NO2, SO2, H2S; NDIR type sensors - CO2, CxHy, high CO; and carries out low NOx and 'true' NOx measurements.

The E8500 also features a wireless remote printer; long–term monitoring and data logging with internal memory; a two channel thermometer (for stack gas & air temperature); software for real–time data logging, graphing, and reporting; gas velocity measurements with pitot tube and CO2%, efficiency and excess air calculations.

A full list of the product's main features has been provided below.
