Pinnacle Marine (Singapore) Pte Ltd reports that it held a keel-laying ceremony on 31 July for the fourth B100-compatible 20-metre utility boat in its newbuild programme.

The ceremony was led by the company's Crewing Manager, Ms Yani Jailani, and marks the latest step in what Pinnacle Marine describes as a "next-generation fleet" of B100-ready vessels.

The newbuild line-up has undergone a restructuring since the programme began. A vessel originally designated as IGC 3 and planned as the programme's fourth B100-compatible unit was redesignated as Mazu 18 — a conventional diesel utility boat — following what the company said was strong demand for its chartering services. The keel for Mazu 18 was laid earlier in July.

The current fleet build-out now comprises five B100-compatible 20-metre utility boats — designated SGC 01, SGC 02, SGC 03, SGC 04 and SGC 05 — alongside the conventional diesel Mazu 18. The keel-laying for SGC 05, the fifth B100-compatible vessel, is scheduled for August 2026.

"We remain committed to supporting the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore's (MPA) decarbonisation goals while delivering reliable and sustainable marine solutions for our customers," Pinnacle Marine stated.
