The average price of marine gas oil (MGO) at the port of Singapore decreased at a larger rate than ICE Gas Oil in the month of April, according to Bunker Index price data.

The ICE Gas Oil settlement average fell by $48.97 per tonne, or 5.36 percent, to $864.72 per tonne in the month of April. During the same period, the Singapore MGO average decreased by $55.00 per tonne, or 6.03 percent, to $857 per tonne.

Between April 2012 and April 2013, the monthly MGO average in Singapore declined by $131 per tonne, or 13.3 percent, whilst the ICE Gas Oil settlement average decreased by $138.43 per tonne, or 13.80 percent.
