The average price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Fujairah decreased by $16 per tonne, or 2.5 percent, during the month of April, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at the Middle East's leading bunker port dropped to $617 per tonne last month, down from $633 per tonne in March, during a month that saw Fujairah's best-selling fuel grade record a $48 low-high price range of $597 to $645 per tonne.

Fujairah's latest 380-cst average is the lowest since December, when the monthly average fell by $4 to $602 per tonne. The April decrease is also the fifth in the last seven months.
