The average monthly price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Singapore decreased for the second consecutive month in April, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at the world's leading bunker port declined by $18 per tonne, or 2.9 percent, to $610 per tonne last month, down from $628 per tonne in March.

In US dollar terms, it is the same monthly decline as in March, when the 380-cst average also fell by $18 per tonne to $628 per tonne.

April's monthly 380-cst average is the lowest since December 2012, when the price dropped to $599 per tonne - falling below $600 per tonne for only the second time since January 2011.
