Bunker price volatility rose to its highest level since August during the month of April, according to Bunker Index price data.

In a comparison of low-high differentials for the daily BIX global average, April proved to be the most volatile in eight months with a low-high differential of $42.34 per tonne.

The lowest daily global bunker price last month was $774.36 per tonne recorded on April 23, whilst the highest price was $816.70 per tonne on April 3.
