Praxis Market Update



Crude has extended its losses for the third consecutive day, with prices hitting as low as USD 74.53 a barrel before recovering above usd 77 /bbl during Asia trading hours.

In Singapore, earliest delivery is available around 11th – 14th of May with wide price range said to be seen on MGO.

In Istanbul, prompt deliveries are feasible from the majority of physicals.

In Suez, heavy fuel availability has improved significantly with some suppliers being able to accommodate vessels for both sides of the Canal.

In Fos, tight barging schedule is reported until the 10th of May.

In Fujairah, some players can even quote for deliveries on the 9th of this month.

In Valparaiso, barging schedules are tight until the 11th, while one player will stay out of the market at least until the 19th, due to drydocking.

In Hong Kong, good product availability with earliest delivery around the 9th of May and demand is seen to have improved.

In Busan, earliest delivery presently ranging around 9th – 13th of may with some tight product availability reported by a number of suppliers.
