Marine fuel supplier Monjasa has opened applications for its Monjasa Oil & Shipping Trainee (MOST) programme, according to an announcement on 8 January.

The Denmark-based firm said it is seeking candidates who identify with its core values of respect, ambition, curiosity, and what it describes as “smile & joy.”

The MOST programme offers placements across Monjasa’s international office network, including locations in Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, Fredericia, Panama, Athens, Houston, and New York.

According to the bunker seller, 21 trainees are currently enrolled in the programme worldwide.

Monjasa said the trainee scheme focuses on developing professional skills and building long-term working relationships within the organisation.

Applications for the programme can be submitted via the company’s website.

Monjasa, which operates globally as a physical bunker supplier and trader operating from 16 international offices, stated in September 2025 that it had seen a surge in applications for its trainee programme, with 1,530 candidates applying worldwide for the 2025 intake — a 97% increase compared to the average yearly applications received between 2020 and 2024.
