Oil and fuel oil hedging market update

By the Oil Desk at Freight Investor Services Ltd.

Brent closed up 0.38 Friday to $50.19 and WTi closed at $48.24 up 0.41. We're at the $50 handle but I still think we will swing between $45 and $50 whilst various snippets of news surfaces regarding the apparent OPEC "deal". All I know is that OPEC production is at a 20-year high, demand isn't increasing, the rig count increased by 7 last week and most countries within the OPEC block are looking to increase production. It will be an interesting week. Good day.
