Ocean Energy opens office in Antwerp

Experienced trader Fons Van den Donk joins the company.

Monaco-based Ocean Energy has extended its network to open a new office in the port of Antwerp.

In a statement, new company Ocean Energy Belgium BvbA said its main sales activities will initially take place in the Antwerp area. Additional locations may also be added in the future.

The company will be focussing on the sale of regular IFO 380 RMG heavy fuels as well as the low sulphur quality of this grade. Marine diesel oil (MDO) and marine gasoil (MGO) with a maximum sulphur content of 0.1%, will also be provided.

Ocean Energy has recruited experienced trader Fons Van den Donk to join the company.

Speaking about his new role, Van den Donk said "I consider it an honor to form part of this well established enterprise and look forward to making this venture a successful one."

"A number of friends have already promised their support in the belief that we can offer a positive contribution to their requirements, especially in the port of Antwerp," said Van den Donk.
