Singapore 380 cSt price summary: week 41


A summary of weekly Singapore 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) at the port of Singapore recorded its biggest week-on-week rise in eight months on Friday, according to Bunker Index price data.

The Singapore 380 cSt bunker price was up by $24.50, or 10.7 percent, to $253.50 per tonne on October 9 compared with $229.00 per tonne on October 2. The $253.50-per-tonne figure is the highest in five weeks.

In dollar terms, the $24.50 increase is the most significant in 25 weeks - since the $25.50 rise recorded on April 17. In percentage terms, the 10.7 percent jump is the biggest in 35 weeks, or eight months - since February 6. It is only the third end-of-week price increase in 17 weeks - since June 12.
