The Bunker Index MGO (BIX MGO) - the worldwide daily marine gas oil (MGO) average quoted in US$ per metric tonne - rose by $4.98 per tonne, or 0.7 percent, during the seven-day period between May 8 and May 15, according to Bunker Index price data.

The global price was $732.25 per tonne on May 15 compared to $727.27 per tonne on May 8. It is the highest end-of-week price since February 27 and represents the fifth consecutive weekly increase.
