Crude:

Oil prices rose on Monday after a drop in stockpiles at the delivery point for U.S. crude in the second half of last week outweighed pressure from near record high production in Saudi Arabia. Tensions in the Middle East and a drop in the number of rigs drilling for oil in the United States also put a floor beneath U.K. North Sea Brent and U.S. crude futures, traders said.

Bunker Market:

The Rotterdam fuel oil market continued to focus on arbitrage opportunities with the Singapore market Monday, with trading sources pointing at steady flows of cargoes expected to leave the region at the end of April. Arbitrage opportunities, however, were expected to lessen in May, partly due to the unavailability of VLCC tankers and to rising rates.
