New structure at Dan-Bunkering (America) Inc.

Jim Jensen is promoted to the role of commercial director and two additional traders are hired.

Dan-Bunkering (America) Inc. has announced the introduction of a new organizational structure with the appointment of a commercial director and two additional bunker traders.

Experienced trader Jim Jensen has been promoted to the role of commercial director with immediate effect, whilst Nicholas Noble Boles and William Cline have been hired as traders.

Jensen started as a bunker trader with Dan-Bunkering in Copenhagen in 2008. Prior to this, he was employed by oil major Chevron in Denmark. In June 2012, Dan-Bunkering announced the promotion of Jensen to the role of sales manager for the launch of Dan-Bunkering's operation in Houston, which he set up together with managing director Hans Lind Dollerup.

Nicholas Noble Boles comes from a background in logistics and port operations. "His extensive knowledge of port operations and his degree in maritime business administration from the University of Texas A&M at Galveston, will stand him in good stead in the busy Houston office," Dan-Bunkering said in an emailed statement.

William Cline holds a degree in marine resource management from Texas A&M University at Galveston. Dan-Bunkering said that Cline's knowledge of the effect of environmental regulations on the maritime business would be "an asset to the entire company".

Explaining the reason for the new organizational structure, Dan-Bunkering said: "Operations in the Dan-Bunkering (America) are rapidly increasing and it has become necessary to change the organisational structure of the company."

Dollerup commented: "As a consequence of expanding business for the Houston office, dedicated commercial management has become a necessity." He was described as being "pleased" to announce the promotion of Jensen to the role of commercial director.
