Bunker Holding appoints former KPI Bridge Oil MD

Henrik Hansen will be tasked with implementing education and training programmes across the group.

Bunker Holding - part of United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC) group and the parent company of a group of companies that includes A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd and Trumf Bunker A/S - has confirmed the addition of Henrik Hansen (pictured) to its human resources department.

In an emailed statement, Bunker Holding said that Hansen will be tasked with "the implementation of group-internal education programs as well as training and further education of employees across Bunker Holding Group in close cooperation with the existing HR team".

Hansen will be based at Bunker Holding's head office in Middelfart, Denmark, but part of his job he will also be to travel to the group's subsidiaries across the globe.

Hansen has experience of having worked in the bunker industry previously - he was managing director at KPI Bridge Oil London Ltd between October 2011 and January 2014.

"With him, he brings a wealth of experience from his time as partner of a leading Danish consultancy company with focus on sales and management as well as from his former employment with a large international bunker company," Bunker Holding said.

Søren Høll, Group COO at Bunker Holding Group, remarked: "With Henrik's in-depth insight into the bunker business and his extensive knowledge of sales and management, he is the perfect candidate for the position in Group HR - Training & Education, where he will form an important part of the further training and development of our employees across the world."
