The average price of 380 centistoke (cSt) fuel oil in Fujairah declined by $81 per tonne, or 13.8 percent, during the month of October, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the Middle East's leading bunker port fell to $507 per tonne, down from $588 per tonne in September, during a month that saw Fujairah's best-selling fuel grade record a $113 low-high price range of $457 to $570 per tonne.

The October price is the lowest since December 2010 ($503 per tonne). It is also the fourth monthly decline in a row and the most significant since the $84 price drop recorded in June 2012.
