Fujairah 380 cSt quotes as low as $500

Aggressive pricing at the Middle East's leading bunker port as prices plummet.

Bunker suppliers in Fujairah were today (October 10) heard quoting 380 centistoke (cSt) product as low as $500 per tonne as prices continued to plummet at the Middle East's leading bunker port.

One bunker trader today informed Bunker Index that levels below $510 were being fixed, adding: "Even 502, 500 as well."

The news means that the daily low for Fujairah's best-selling fuel grade has plummeted $68, or 12 percent in just a week, from $568 to $500 per tonne between October 3 and October 10.

Meanwhile, the daily assessment price, which takes into account a range of price levels from supply sources, has declined by $58.50, or 10.3 percent, from $568.50 to $510 per tonne during the same period.

Please find below a summary of Fujairah 380 cSt prices (in US$ per tonne, with the daily lows and highs in brackets) over the last 7 days.
