KPI Bridge Oil appoints MD in Singapore


New managing director, Mark Emmett, says he is looking forward to "leading the future expansion of our business in Asia".



KPI Bridge Oil - a global broker and trader of marine fuels, marine lubricants and risk management products - has appointed Mark Emmett [pictured] as Managing Director of its Singapore operations.

Emmett has more than 30 years experience in the bunker and shipping industries - the last 13 years being with KPI Bridge Oil in London.

Carsten Ladekjaer, chief executive officer (CEO) of KPI Bridge Oil Group, remarked: "Mark is one of our most experienced senior traders and managers who has a huge amount of technical, commercial and legal knowledge. With his proven track record and in-depth understanding of the bunker industry and our group, Mark is going to be a valuable addition to our already successful team in Singapore”.

Commenting on his new role at KPI Bridge Oil Singapore, Emmett said: "It is a privilege to be joining the Singapore office as its new managing director. I am very excited to be heading up this great team and I am very much looking forward to building upon the successes of the company in the recent years and in leading the future expansion of our business in Asia."
