Malik hires bunker trader for Athens office


Danish supplier adds Nikolas Giannos to its Hellas operation.

Danish bunker supplier Malik Supply A/S has appointed Nikolas Giannos as a bunker trader at its Hellas office in Athens.

Giannos holds a bachelor's degree in Shipping, Trade, and Transport from the University of the Aegean in Chios and brings over three years of experience as an operator in the shipping industry.

Over the past year, he has served as supply trader for Cockett Group, combining operational knowledge with commercial skills.

Prior to that, he worked in operations for Scorpio Group. When posted at Scorpio affiliate Optimum Ship Services, his responsibilities included managing the bunkering process for a number of vessels.

Sales Manager Leonidas Georgiou said: "Nikolas is highly organized, skilled in negotiations, and strong at building relationships. He will bring valuable operational and commercial expertise to our Malik team."
