The 380 centistoke (cSt) average at Europe's leading bunker port dipped $2, or 0.3 percent, to $577 per tonne in May, according to Bunker Index price data.

The $2 price decrease is the seventh in the last twelve months and means that Rotterdam's 380 cSt average has now remained within a $2 price range for a four-month period between February and May 2014.

In comparison with the corresponding month in 2013, the May 2014 average is $6 lower. It is $59 below the $636 per tonne price recorded in May 2012.
