Singapore MGO vs ICE Gas Oil


Analysis of Singapore marine gas oil (MGO) and ICE Gas Oil prices.

The average price of marine gas oil (MGO) at the port of Singapore fell at a lower rate than the ICE Gas Oil average during the month of March, according to Bunker Index price data.

The ICE Gas Oil settlement average decreased by $19.35 per tonne, or 2.1 percent, to $901.85 per tonne in March. During the same period, the Singapore MGO average was down by $13 per tonne, or 1.42 percent, to $903 per tonne.

Between March 2013 and March 2014, the monthly MGO average in Singapore fell by $9 per tonne, or 0.99 percent, from $912 to $903 per tonne, whilst the ICE Gas Oil settlement average dropped by $11.84 per tonne, or 1.30 percent, from $913.69 to $901.85 per tonne.
