Rotterdam 380 cst average dips $2 in March


Europe's leading bunker port records its least significant decrease since May 2013.



The 380 centistoke (cst) average at Europe's leading bunker port dipped $2 per tonne, or 0.3 percent, to $577 per tonne in March, according to Bunker Index price data.

The price decrease is the eighth in the last twelve months and is the least significant since May 2013, when Rotterdam's 380 cst average declined by just $1 to $583 per tonne.

In comparison with the corresponding month in 2013, the March 2014 average is $26 lower. It is $129 below the $706 per tonne price recorded in March 2012.
