Odfjell appoints president

New president, David Ellis, has been with Odfjell since 1996.

Odfjell Terminals, a leading global storage provider for petroleum products, gases and chemicals, has announced the appointment of David Ellis as president, effective immediately. He will be responsible for the leadership of Odfjell Terminals’ global activities.

Ellis has been with Odfjell SE since 1996 and Odfjell Terminals since 2005, most recently serving as the executive in charge of North American activities.

Odfjell Terminals is a joint venture between Odfjell SE and Lindsay Goldberg. The company owns eight terminals worldwide with over 4.5 million cubic meters in over 900 tanks, plus new projects in Charleston, South Carolina; Tianjin and Fujian, China; and Le Havre, France.

There are also multiple expansion projects underway in Houston, Antwerp and Singapore. Odfjell Terminals’ key activities include storage of petroleum products, chemicals, gases and distillation with almost 1,000 personnel worldwide.

Odfjell Terminals also cooperates with 12 terminals, mainly in South America, and partly owned by related parties. Together with owned terminals, joint ventures, and related parties this network will soon offer storage in more than 25 terminals around the world.
