Island Oil has appointed Nildeep Dholakia as senior trader in its Dubai office, the marine fuel supplier announced on 21 January.
The company said the appointment reflects the continued growth of its regional presence and its focus on strengthening commercial expertise to support customers across the marine fuels market.
Kimihiro Kido, head of international trading, UAE, at Island Oil, noted: "It's a pleasure to welcome Nildeep to our Dubai team as we take another step in our regional expansion. I'm confident his knowledge and experience will add strong commercial depth and help us continue serving our clients at the highest level."

Headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, Island Oil operates physical supply stations in Cyprus, Romania, and Israel. The company has trading desks in Denmark, Greece, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, UAE, and UK.
