Blue Energy Partners, a subsidiary of Global Fuel Supply, has appointed Michelle McDade as head of operations, based in Oslo.

In the role, McDade will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations and work closely with traders, suppliers and vessel operators to help ensure smooth and reliable deliveries worldwide.

"In a market where timing and coordination are critical, her focus will be on maintaining structured, efficient operations and seamless communication across all stakeholders," Global Fuel Supply stated.

Prior to joining Blue Energy Parters, McDade was employed for more than eight years at Sonan Bunkers in Norway, where she served as both bunker trader and head of operations.

Commenting on her new role, McDade commented: "I am excited to be joining the Global Fuel Supply x Blue Energy Partners team at such a promising time for the business. I look forward to working with everyone involved and building a global operations function that supports real growth."

Launched in August 2025, Oslo-based Blue Energy Partners is a seller of marine fuels. In recent months, parent company Global Fuel Supply has opened an office in Cape Town, South Africa, and unveiled its first bunker tanker, MV Blue Alliance, to support the company's operations in West Africa.
