Fujairah 380-cst declines by 2.8 percent in March


Most significant decrease in four months at the Middle East's leading bunker port.



The average price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Fujairah decreased by $18 per tonne, or 2.8 percent, during the month of March, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at the Middle East's leading bunker port dropped to $633 per tonne last month, down from $651 per tonne in February, during a month that saw Fujairah's best-selling fuel grade record a $24 low-high price range of $620 to $644 per tonne.

Fujairah's 380-cst March decrease is the most significant since November, when the monthly average plummeted $32 to $606 per tonne. It is also the fourth decline in the last six months.
