Rotterdam 380-cst down $28 in March


Last month's decrease is the fourth over a six-month period.



The average monthly price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Rotterdam decreased for the first time this year in March, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at Europe's leading bunker port fell by $28 per tonne, or 4.4 percent, to $603 per tonne in March, down from $631 per tonne the previous month.

It is the lowest monthly average since December. Last month's decrease is also the fourth over a six-month period and the most significant since November.
