First vessel bunkered with LNG in Singapore arrives in Cameroon

Vessel to be used for the development of the Kribi offshore fields.

The vessel which in September received the first commercial delivery of LNG in Singapore, the floating liquefaction vessel (FLNGV) Hilli Episeyo, has arrived at its destination in Cameroon.

According to ship-tracking data, the FLNGV is located off Kribi in Cameroon after departing from Singapore in October.

The Golar LNG-operated Hilli Episeyo is the world's first converted FLNGV. It is to be used in Cameroon for the development of the Kribi offshore fields.

As previously reported by Bunker Index, FueLNG, a joint venture between Keppel and Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd (Shell), completed Singapore's first commercial LNG bunker delivery, with the Hilli Episeyo as the receiving vessel, in September.

The LNG bunker transfer was carried out in batches and completed on September 23 prior to the vessel's departure.
