The U.S. trade deficit probably climbed in August on higher crude oil costs. At the same time, slower global growth reduced demand for American exports, economists said before a report today.

Singapore: Demand was below average and supplies fine. Earliest date for deliveries were possible from October 15 onwards..

Hong Kong: Low levels of enquiries reported. Avails were fine, prompt deliveries not an issue.

Malta: Local supplier reported tight avails for the IFO grades. Delivery of MGO is not an issue.
