The average global bunker price declined at a slower rate than WTI crude in April 2012, according to Bunker Index price data.

The WTI settlement average fell by $2.90 per barrel, or 2.73 percent, in the month of April. However, during the same period, the BIX global bunker average decreased by $13.09 per tonne, or 1.5 percent, to $889.05 per tonne.
