In a comparison of low-high differentials, April 2012 was the second-least volatile over the past eighteen months with a low-high differential of just $17.47 per tonne.

The lowest daily global bunker price last month was $882.87 per tonne on 23rd April, whilst the highest price was $900.34 per tonne on 4th April.
