Rotterdam 380-cst down $16 in April


Monthly average falls at Europe's leading bunker port.



The average price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Rotterdam declined by $16 per tonne, or 2.27 percent, during the month of April, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at Europe's leading bunker port fell to $690 per tonne last month, down from $706 per tonne in March.

Last month's average is the second-highest ever recorded and $45 per tonne, or 6.98 percent, higher than the $645 per tonne recorded in April 2011.
