The average price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Fujairah declined by $17 per tonne, or 2.3 percent, during the month of April according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at the Middle East's leading bunker port decreased to $724 per tonne this month, down from $741 per tonne in March, during a month which saw a $30 price range of 711.00 to 741.00 per tonne.

The April average price represents the first monthly decline of the year so far since falling $10 per tonne in December 2011 to $677 per tonne.
