Chemoil appoints VP of Administration and Human Resources


Newly-appointed VP to oversee all corporate and administrative matters affecting personnel.



Chemoil has appointed Ms Michele Swanson as its Vice President of Administration and Human Resources.

In this global role, Ms Swanson will have the oversight responsibility for all corporate and administrative matters affecting Chemoil’s personnel, including but not limited to employment, compensation, policy and procedures and HRMS development.

Commenting on the appointment, Tom Reilly, Chief Executive Officer said: “Michele has over 30 years experience in the petroleum industry and she is a natural fit for Chemoil’s ambition to quickly grow the company’s business worldwide. We envision the company to be actively exploring various new business development in the medium term, as well as making inroads into other strategic initiatives in the long run, and Michele’s appointment will definitely facilitate these growth plans ahead.”

Prior to joining Chemoil on January 15, 2011, Swanson held senior level positions in Marine Fuel and Lubricant marketing, human relations, administration, and management in Texaco, Fuel and Marine Marketing and Chevron.

"Michele's depth of experience in all aspects of the marine business will be invaluable in the future growth and development of Chemoil," Chemoil said.
