Oilmar appoints junior marine fuels trader at Dubai trading desk


UAE-headquartered bunker firm hires Rasul Shirinov, with a background in the agricultural sector.

UAE-headquartered marine fuels trading company Oilmar has announced the appointment of Rasul Shirinov as a junior marine fuels trader in Dubai.

Commenting on the appointment of Shirinov, who joins from the agricultural sector, Oilmar said: "We are pleased to support him as he transitions into the bunker industry and develops his expertise in this dynamic market."

The bunker seller reflected on what it describes as a commitment to nurturing emerging talent within its ranks, pointing to its in-house training initiative, the Oilmar Academy, as part of an effort to bring aspiring professionals into the marine fuels sector and provide them with mentorship and hands-on experience.

"We are excited to have Rasul on board and look forward to seeing his growth and contributions as part of our expanding trading team," Oilmar added.
