US firm in service agreement with Addax


Long Island company to act as a consultant for Addax in North and South America.



Physical supply company Addax Bunkering Services has announced that it has established a service agreement with US-based Inisfada Bunkering and Consulting LLC.

Under the agreement, Inisfada will act as a consultant for Addax in bunker trading and credit facility operations in North and South America. The Long Island firm will also carry out marketing activities on behalf of Addax for the company's physical supply operations in offshore East and West Africa, where it has an extensive storage and fuel distribution network.

Inisfada engages in general consulting for marine bunker buyers and facilitates marine fuel and lubricant purchasing as well as bunker/lube credit and extended terms transactions.

The company is managed by Dennis Sears, who began his career in the bunker industry working for the Contishipping Division of Continental Grain Company before joining Eastwind Maritime Inc., the Marshall Islands firm which filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on June 24th, 2009.
