Greenergy completes acquisition of fuel and lube distributor Armorine


UK firm expands into France following competition clearance to purchase established supplier.

UK-based energy company Greenergy has completed its acquisition of French fuel and lubricant distributor Armorine following final competition clearance.

The deal, first announced in June, includes all of Armorine's subsidiaries and operations. Founded in 1932, Armorine operates across fuel import and distribution, lubricant production, and logistics through a national network of oil depots and supply sites.

The acquisition represents Greenergy's entry into the French market as part of its European expansion strategy.

"As we enter the French market, this acquisition marks an important step in Greenergy's European growth," said Adam Traeger, CEO of Greenergy. "We look forward to working with the experienced team at Armorine and combining the strengths and expertise of our businesses to build on Armorine's success. Together, we will accelerate growth and enhance our offering in the French market."

Armorine's operations span the fuel supply chain, from import and distribution to lubricant manufacturing, supported by logistics infrastructure across France. The company has built its business over nine decades in the French energy market.

The completion of the transaction follows regulatory approval from French competition authorities. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Greenergy's move into France continues the company's expansion across European markets, adding Armorine's established customer base and distribution network to its operations.
