Chimbusco Pan Nation (CPN) has established operations in Greece as part of its European expansion.

With the launch of the new office, CPN said it was boosting its global trading capabilities and leveraging its supply hubs in the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The Greek team comprises three industry professionals, led by Katerina Sarakioti as Team Leader for Greece. Sarakioti brings nearly 20 years of experience in fuel trading and market analysis, having previously worked as Senior Trader at Cockett Group and, formerly, at BMS United Bunkers.

Joining Sarakioti are bunker traders Panos Matsoukis and Nikolaos Giannos. Matsoukis has more than 10 years of experience in trade, energy, and shipping, with previous roles at Cockett Group and Termoil Ltd. Giannos holds a BSc in Shipping, Trade & Transport from the University of the Aegean and has gained operational and trading experience at Cockett Group, Scorpio Group, and Optimum Ship Services.

CPN noted that Sarakioti would ensure access to competitive pricing, reliable supply chains, and strategic guidance for bunkering operations, whilst Matsoukis and Giannos would combine to provide customized solutions for customers, efficient bunkering operations, and strategies that minimize downtime and maximize fuel efficiency.

The announcement positions the move as part of CPN's strategy to be closer to customers and provide enhanced support and faster response times.
